Vampire Facial, PRP

This is a treatment that looks scary but in reality, a highly effective procedure to promote the healthy activities of your skin cells. This facial treatment goes like this: A nurse will draw your own blood and put in a special device called centrifuge to separate the serum portion of the blood, which contains platelets, which contain a high level of growth factors that will stimulate cell turn-over. The procedure can be a combination of a microdermabrasion, or micro needling (for more penetration), followed by the application of PRP (platelet-rich plasma). It helps everything from collagen to elastin while bringing antioxidant and hydrating properties.

Who is it for:

  • Premature wrinkles,
  • High levels of solar damage,
  • Anyone who wants an even tone and fresher appearance to their skin

Be cautious if you have:

  •  History of blood diseases, including clotting or bleeding disorders

After Treatment Recovery Care

Recovery takes a day or two of downtime before your normal routine. The length of recovery time is dependent on microdermabrasion used. It is highly recommended that you use post-procedure sunscreen as your complexion will look a bit red like sunburnt. Also, refrain from using makeup during the recovery period.
